Friday 19th November 2010 saw the Cubs joining our Autumn camp, indoors at  1st Eppleton Scout HQ. The evening kicked off with an eagerly contested Archery shoot out, followed by supper, getting the tents ready, and a film to round off the evening.

Saturday saw an early if not so bright start to the day, following a wash and spruce up a hearty 3 course breakfast was demolished with suprising speed. Our lively bunch then took up the challenges and games for a very active morning of team games and races. They enjoyed themselves so much most did not want to leave, our Cubs were very well behaved throughout the event, and I know the leaders got a great buzz from the event too.

1st Eppleton Scout Group and Brownies (part of Houghton-Le-Spring Scout District) provides adventure for young people aged 6 to 14 in Hetton-Le-Hole, Tyne and Wear. A thriving Cub pack and Scout Group make up the many members, comprising of young people and an active leader team of adults.
